SB 5767 - DIGEST

     Encourages a partnership between local governments, private business, charities and the state to support the establishment and operation of short-term shelter programs in areas of the state experiencing extreme shortages of care for runaway and homeless youth.

     Authorizes grants to support the costs of the shelters.

     Makes an appropriation of three million dollars to carry out the purposes of the act.
