SB 5830 - DIGEST

     Requires a county legislative authority seeking to impose the local option liquor sales tax to develop a six-year plan for the provision of chemical dependency treatment and support services for chronically disabled, chemically dependent persons.

     Requires approval of the plan by the department of social and health services.

     Establishes taxing limits and distribution formulas.
