(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Consolidates the economic and community development functions of the department of trade and economic development and the department of community development into a new department of community, trade, and economic development.

     Specifies the duties and functions of the new department.

     Conforms existing statutes to refer to the new department.

     Repeals provisions of chapters 43.31, 43.63A, and 43.165 RCW.
