SB 5887 - DIGEST

     Abolishes the department of fisheries and the department of wildlife and transfers their powers, duties, and functions to the department of fish and wildlife.

     Provides that steelhead trout shall be managed solely as a recreational fishery for non-Indian fishermen.

     Repeals RCW 75.08.014, 77.04.020, and 77.04.080.
