SB 5964 - DIGEST

     Deletes references to the building code council.

     Delegates the responsibility for administration of rules adopted by the council to the department of community development.

     Authorizes the department to establish a committee to provide advice on the adoption and administration of building codes.

     Repeals RCW 19.27.035, 19.27.070, 19.27.074, 19.27.078, 19.27.175, and 19.27A.050.
