(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Establishes notice procedures for the establishment of a new motor vehicle dealer or relocation of an existing dealer into a relevant market area of an existing dealer with the same line of vehicles.

     Authorizes hearing procedures upon request of the existing dealer.

     Specifies elements to be considered in a hearing and places the burden of proof on the manufacturer to establish good cause for the new or relocated dealership.

     Prohibits the coercion of a waiver of the right of an existing dealer to protest a new or relocated dealership.

     Exempts dealerships which exclusively market vehicles 19,000 pounds gross vehicle weight and above.
