     Establishes rules of business practice for roofing and siding contractors to promote honesty and fair dealing with homeowners.

     Specifies the terms to be included in a written contract for the work, including a warning that a lien could be placed on the property and a notice of the customers's right to cancel.

     Provides that a contractor or salesperson who fails to comply with requirements of the act shall be liable for actual damages to the homeowners.

     Limits fees which may be charged by a mortgage broker.
