SB 6179 - DIGEST

     Authorizes an additional excise tax for the privilege of using a motor vehicle in an annual amount of .37 percent of the value of the vehicle.

     Directs deposit of the funds into the state patrol highway account.

     Requires approval by the voters at the next general election.
