SB 6199.E - DIGEST

     Provides that it is a traffic infraction for a person to ride a bicycle without a protective helmet beginning January 1, 1995.

     Requires passengers to wear helmets.

     Does not require an infraction to be noted on a person's driving record.

     Requires informational material regarding bicyclists' rights and responsibilities to be furnished.
