SB 6550 - DIGEST

     Provides that, if a mobile home park is closed or converted to another use, all affected low-income park tenants owning a mobile home are entitled to relocation assistance in the form of reimbursement for actual expenses.

     Establishes procedures for the submission of applications for assistance payments.

     Creates the mobile home park relocation fund.

     Requires each mobile home park owner to pay an annual fee of five dollars for each occupied lot in the mobile home park.

     Requires the preparation of a mobile home park closure impact statement by the owner.

     Repeals provisions of chapter 59.21 RCW.
