     On page 2, line 24, after "juvenile is" strike "sixteen or seventeen years old" and insert "thirteen years of age or older"

     On page 3, beginning on line 34, strike section 2

     Renumber remaining sections consecutively and correct internal      references accordingly

EFFECT:  The age at which a juvenile will be automatically prosecuted as an adult under this provision is lowered from age 16 to age 13.  The corresponding provision that created a mandatory decline hearing for juveniles 14 and 15 is stricken.
