     On page 40, line 7, strike "531,931,000" and insert "538,504,000"

     On page 40, line 33, strike all of subsection (7)

     Renumber remaining subsection accordingly.

EFFECT:  Increases the appropriation to the prisons budget in the Department of Corrections by $6,573,000 to restore the reductions related to a decrease in recreation staff and a decrease in custody staff.  Removes the proviso prohibiting DOC from spending more than $1 million on recreation services.
