     On On page 40, line 28, after "contractor." insert "  The contractor shall provide compensation and  benefits to its employees substantially similar to those provided to employees of the department of corrections."

EFFECT:  Amends the proviso in the Department of Corrections budget relating to the privitization of the Coyote Ridge facility by requiring the contractor who will operate the prison to pay employees at a rate similar to employees in the Department of Corrections.
