     On page 2, beginning on line 13, strike section 2

     Renumber the remaining section consecutively and correct the title reference accordingly.

EFFECT:  Removes the requirement that financial institutions notify the Department of Retirement Systems of the death of a beneficiary within 30 days of the financial institution receiving notice of the death.  Also, the penalty for noncompliance is removed.
