     On page 9, after line 2, insert the following subsection:

     "(6) Income of a new spouse or other adults in the household. Income and resources of a new spouse or other adult in the parent's household is not by itself a sufficient reason for deviation.  The court shall only consider income of a new spouse or other adult in the parent's household if the parent is asking for a deviation to support children to whom the new spouse or other adult also has a duty to support as provided in subsection (5) of this section."


 

 

 

EFFECT:  Income of a new spouse or other adult in the parent's household is not a sufficient basis for deviation.  The court shall only consider that income as a basis for deviation when the parent before the court is asking for a deviation to support children to whom the new spouse or other adult are also required to support.
