     On page 10, line 20, after "reasonably available to the parent" insert "receiving support. The parent receiving support shall not be required to submit documentation unless the parent making the transfer payment notifies the parent receiving support in writing, three months prior to filing the motion, that the parent making the transfer payment intends to file a motion for an accounting, or the parent receiving support is under a court order to document expenditures of support."

     On page 10, line 22, strike "six" and insert "three"

     On page 10, line 23, after "motion" insert "unless the parent receiving support is under a court order to retain documentation of child support expenditures for a longer time period not to exceed six months"


 

 

 

EFFECT:  A parent receiving support will not be required to submit documentation of child support expenditures at the show cause hearing unless the parent making the transfer payment notifies the other parent 3 months prior to filing the motion of the parent's intent to move for an accounting of expenditures, or, the parent receiving support is already under a court order to retain documentation of expenditures for a time period not to exceed 6 months.  The parent receiving support will not have to retain more than 3 months of documentation unless the parent is under a court order to retain documentation for a longer time period not to exceed 6 months.
