     On page 19, beginning on line 35, after "(2)" strike all material through "positions" on page 20, line 4, and insert "The office of financial management shall review the need for recreational leaders  and assess if recreational leader positions could be effectively reduced without impacting the safe and efficient operation of the prisons.  The office of financial management shall report their findings to the appropriate committees of the legislature by December 12, 1995"

EFFECT:  Eliminates the 50% percent reduction of recreational leader staff and requires that the Office of Financial Management assess if recreational leader positions could be cut without impacting the safe operation of the prisons. Report to the legislature due December 12, 1995.
