     On page 1, line 3 of the amendment, beginning with "and insert" strike all the matter through line 23

EFFECT:  Alters the committee amendment to delete section 2, rather than deleting section 2 and inserting a new amendatory section.  As a result, all write-in votes must be tallied, even if the write-in votes could not alter the results of the election.
