     On page 1, line 9, after "court." insert the following material:

     The King county legislative authority may phase in the additional ((twelve)) nine judges, as authorized by the 1992 amendments to this section, over a period of time not to extend beyond July 1, ((1996.)) 2006.

EFFECT: Permits nine judges for King county, instead of twelve. Extends phase in period of judges to July 1, 2006.
