    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 9.  Spartina removal shall include restoration to return intertidal land and other infested lands to the condition found on adjacent unaffected lands in the same tidal elevation."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

    On page 13, after line 31, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 16.  A new section is added to chapter 43.131 RCW to read as follows:

    The hydraulic projects and other works provision shall be terminated on July 1, 1999, as provided in section 17 of this act.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 17.  A new section is added to chapter 43.131 RCW to read as follows:

    RCW 75.20.100 and 1995 c ... s 4 (section 4 of this act), 1993 sp.s. c 2 s 30, 1991 c 322 s 30, 1988 c 272 s 1, 1988 c 36 s 33, 1986 c 173 s 1, 1983 1st ex.s. c 46 s 75, 1975 1st ex.s. c 29 s 1, 1967 c 48 s 1, & 1955 c 12 s 75.20.100 are each repealed, effective July 1, 2000."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively.
