EFFECT:  This corrects a drafting error which occurred when the substitute bill was prepared.  It will permit fire protection districts to contract with public housing authorities for the full amount they would receive from a private owner.  Since fire protection districts collect amounts from property owners other than benefit charges, the language in the substitute is unduly restrictive and defeats the purpose of the bill.
