The board consists of three members: a journeyman plumber, a person engaged in the plumbing business, and a member of the public with knowledge of the business and plumbing trade. Members serve three year staggered terms and are appointed by the Governor. The board was established in 1973.
Summary of Bill: Expiration dates for each of the members of the Advisory Board of Plumbers are specified. The term of the member who is a journeyman plumber expires July 1, 1995. The term of the member representing the plumbing business expires July 1, 1996 and the term of the public member expires on July 1, 1997.
