Background:  Under current law, bona fide charitable and nonprofit organizations are allowed to operate bingo a maximum of three times a week.  Such organizations are prohibited from sharing bingo locations with other organizations that also operate bingo.

Summary of Bill:  Bona fide charitable and nonprofit organizations are no longer prohibited from sharing bingo locations with other organizations that also operate bingo.

Appropriation:  None.

Fiscal Note:  Not requested.

Effective Date:  Ninety days after adjournment of session in which bill is passed.
