Placing restrictions on students leaving school grounds.

    AN ACT Relating to restricting students from leaving school grounds; and adding a new section to chapter 28A.600 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 28A.600 RCW to read as follows:

    A student may not leave school grounds during school hours unless the student:  (1) Has permission from a parent or guardian; (2) has written permission from the school principal; or (3) has an emergency that requires the student to leave the school grounds.
