Funding state ferries.

    AN ACT Relating to state ferry bonds; and amending RCW 47.60.800.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

    Sec. 1.  RCW 47.60.800 and 1992 c 158 s 1 are each amended to read as follows:

    In order to provide funds necessary for vessel and terminal acquisition, construction, and major and minor improvements, including long lead time materials acquisition for the Washington state ferries, there shall be issued and sold upon the request of the Washington state transportation commission and legislative appropriation a total of two hundred ((ten)) seventy-five million dollars of general obligation bonds of the state of Washington.
