AN ACT Relating to county law enforcement agencies; and adding a new section to chapter 41.14 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 41.14 RCW to read as follows:
No county shall require a person applying for or holding an office, place, position, or employment under the provisions of this chapter or a local charter to reside within the limits of the county as a condition of employment or to discriminate in any manner against a person because of his or her residence outside of the limits of the county.
