HOUSE BILL 1946
_______________________________________________
State of Washington 54th Legislature 1995 Regular Session
By Representatives Veloria and Cody
Read first time 02/15/95. Referred to Committee on Capital Budget.
AN ACT Relating to making an appropriation for the construction of a new library at Green River Community College; creating a new section; and making an appropriation.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature finds that the Green River Community College has far too little space in the library to serve current and future levels of student enrollment, and that Green River students need additional space for computer training stations and media services.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. The sum of fifteen million eight hundred forty-five thousand dollars, or as much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated for the biennium ending June 30, 1997, from the state building construction account to the state board of community and technical colleges for the purpose of constructing a new library and center for information technology at Green River Community College.
