Modifying grants for vocational rehabilitation equipment and materials.



     AN ACT Relating to grants for vocational rehabilitation equipment and materials; and amending RCW 74.18.150.

 

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

 

     Sec. 1.  RCW 74.18.150 and 1983 c 194 s 15 are each amended to read as follows:

     The department may grant to vocational rehabilitation clients equipment and materials ((with an individual value of not more than one thousand dollars)) not to exceed the amount allowed by state financial policies and regulations, provided that the equipment or materials are required by the client's individual written rehabilitation program and are used by the client or former client in a manner consistent therewith.  The department shall adopt rules to implement this section.
