Revising requirements for filing of instruments.

    AN ACT Relating to filing and recording of instruments, papers, and notices; and amending RCW 65.04.090.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

    Sec. 1.  RCW 65.04.090 and Code 1881 s 2732 are each amended to read as follows:

    ((He)) The auditor must also endorse upon ((such)) an instrument, paper, or notice((,)) deposited under RCW 65.04.080 the time when and the book and page in which it is recorded, and must thereafter ((deliver it)), upon request of the person delivering the document, return the document, at the auditor's discretion, either to the party leaving the same for record((,)) or to ((his order)) that party's designee.
