Allowing civil actions for LEOFF II members.

    AN ACT Relating to civil actions for injury or death involving members of the law enforcement officers' and fire fighters' retirement system; adding new sections to chapter 41.26 RCW; recodifying RCW 41.26.270 and 41.26.281; and repealing RCW 41.26.480.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  RCW 41.26.480 and 1977 ex.s. c 294 s 9 are each repealed.

NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  RCW 41.26.270 and 41.26.281 are each recodified in chapter 41.26 RCW under the subchapter heading "provisions applicable to plan I and plan II".
