Authorizing the director of licensing to use county auditors and subagents for additional licensing tasks.

     AN ACT Relating to the use of county auditors and subagents by the director of licensing; and adding a new section to chapter 46.20 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 46.20 RCW to read as follows:

     The director, under RCW 46.01.130 and 46.01.140, may use county auditors and subagents, if they volunteer, to license vehicles, renew driver's licenses, process all specialized vehicle license plates, conduct pro-rate licensing, and renew any other professional licenses granted by the department.
