AN ACT Relating to common school construction; creating a new section; providing an effective date; and declaring an emergency.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. Upon repeal of the budget stabilization account by section 9, chapter 2, Laws of 1994, the state treasurer shall immediately transfer one hundred million dollars from the budget stabilization account to the common school construction account under RCW 28A.515.320, to be used exclusively for the purpose of financing the construction of facilities for the common schools.
NEW SECTION. Sec. 2. This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and shall take effect June 30, 1995.
