AN ACT Relating to condominiums; and adding a new section to chapter 64.34 RCW.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. A new section is added to chapter 64.34 RCW to read as follows:
A licensed real estate salesperson or broker involved in the sale of a condominium unit intended to be used for residential purposes may be found liable for damages to a purchaser of the condominium unit for material misrepresentations made orally or in writing that the salesperson or broker knew, or reasonably should have known, were false.
