Posting fuel tax rates.

    AN ACT Relating to posting of motor vehicle fuel tax rates; and adding a new section to chapter 82.36 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 82.36 RCW to read as follows:

    The operator of a service station shall post the respective rates of each of the state and federal fuel taxes, in cents per gallon, on each pump at the station.  The department shall furnish each service station operator with a sufficient number of self-adhesive stickers showing the current tax rates.  The stickers must be approximately three inches by five inches in size.
