Concerning rules to protect the Northern spotted owl or marbled murrelet.

    AN ACT Relating to the forest practices board; and adding a new section to chapter 76.09 RCW.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:

NEW SECTION. Sec. 1.  A new section is added to chapter 76.09 RCW to read as follows:

    Any rule relating to management to protect the Northern spotted owl or marbled murrelet that is adopted by the board shall not become effective until both houses of the legislature adopt a concurrent resolution authorizing its implementation.
