SENATE RESOLUTION

By Senators Zarelli and Bauer

     WHEREAS, The Wildcats of the La Center High School Men's Basketball Team won the final, class "A" championship game; and

     WHEREAS, The team earned an impressive record of 24 wins and only one loss for the entire, arduous season; and

     WHEREAS, The championship series and final game were merely small reminders of the difficult work and dedication of the entire team throughout the full season; and

     WHEREAS, The Wildcats' head coach Forbes Lapp has given of himself, his time, and his efforts to leading the team to its important victory; and

     WHEREAS, All the players of the Wildcats have come together as a team like no other to ensure that we never forget this great season; and

     WHEREAS, The La Center community has rallied around the school and the team in support;

     NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the State of Washington recognize and congratulate the blood, sweat, and tears that all the players, coaches, and staff of the Wildcats' Men's Basketball Team of the La Center High School have devoted to making themselves not only great Champions but a proud reminder to us all that we can achieve anything we desire if we continuously strive to be the best.
