HB 1029 - DIGEST

(AS OF HOUSE 2ND READING 2/17/95)

     Deletes the direction to the health services commission to establish the uniform benefits package as provided in RCW 43.72.130, and directs the commission to make recommendations to the legislature for the package.

     Requires proposed medical risk adjustment mechanisms to be submitted to the legislature for consideration.

     Directs the commission to seek the opinions of the public and public agencies in making recommendations for the uniform benefits package.

     Repeals RCW 43.72.180.
