HB 1106 - DIGEST

     Directs all regulatory agencies to develop programs to encourage voluntary compliance by providing technical assistance consistent with statutory requirements and the limits of the agency's budget.

     Provides for technical assistance visits.

     Requires a reasonable period of time to correct violations prior to issuance of a civil penalty.

     Provides for the development of educational programs for the determination of tax or premium liabilities.

     Requires the office of financial management to periodically report on the effectiveness of the act.
