HB 1161 - DIGEST

     Provides that it is a misdemeanor offense to fail to store a firearm in the required manner.

     Provides that it is a class C felony to fail to store a firearm in the required manner if a child obtains a firearm and uses it to cause harm upon himself or herself or any other person.

     Requires a written warning of the requirements to be furnished to purchasers of firearms.
