HB 1330-S - DIGEST

(SUBSTITUTED FOR - SEE 2ND SUB)

     Makes technical revisions to chapter 70.38 RCW.

     Provides that, after July 1, 1996, certificates of need for new hospitals, ambulatory surgical facilities, and home health and hospice agencies shall not be required.

     Directs the department, by December 1, 1995, to provide recommendations to the legislature on what, if any, system needs to be maintained by the state to assess quality and access issues of health services and facilities.

     Repeals RCW 70.38.095.
