HB 1341-S2 - DIGEST

(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 2ND SUBSTITUTE)

     Provides that the watercraft excise tax revenues exceeding nine million dollars in each fiscal year, but not exceeding ten million dollars, shall be deposited in the clean and safe boating account, which is created by the act.

     Revises the allocated expenditures of funds designated by RCW 88.12.375, 88.12.325, and 88.12.355.

     Requires a significant amount of the allocation to be expended for boating safety education in the public school system.
