HB 1419 - DIGEST

     Declares that the treasurer of the county in which a public facilities district is located shall be the treasurer of the district.

     Designates the powers and duties of the board of directors of the public facilities district with regard to payment of compensation and expenses of officers and employees.

     Authorizes the board to purchase liability insurance and approve the use of the district's attorney in defending actions against officers or employees.

     Authorizes the districts to issue revenue bonds to fund revenue generating facilities.
