(DIGEST OF PROPOSED 1ST SUBSTITUTE)

     Revises provisions relating to the methods for calculating child support.

     Provides that, if the combined monthly net income of the parties exceeds five thousand dollars, the court may in its discretion enter an order requiring that a specific portion of the child support payment be placed in an education trust account.
