HB 1519 - DIGEST

     Provides that no abortion shall be performed without the voluntary and informed consent of the woman.

     Designates the types of information to be provided prior to the abortion.

     Requires the publication of material regarding alternatives to abortion.

     Provides civil and criminal penalties for violations of the act.
