HB 1583 - DIGEST

 

                      (DIGEST AS ENACTED)

 

     Provides that if a local government has failed to adopt a policy, an employee may report alleged improper government action directly to the county prosecuting attorney, or to the state auditor when the prosecutor's office has participated in the alleged acts.

     Requires the costs incurred by the state auditor to be paid by the local government through the municipal revolving account.
