(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Authorizes cities to adopt a resolution declaring that there is a need for a housing authority.

     Revises the requirements to be eligible to serve as a housing authority commissioner.

     Deletes the requirement that a resolution by which a pledge of moneys by a housing authority is made must be recorded.
