HB 1793 - DIGEST

 

     Declares that the public employer of state patrol officers for wage-related matters is the governor, and the public employer for nonwage-related matters is the state patrol.

     Includes correctional employees in counties with a population of seventy thousand or more in the definition of "uniformed personnel."

     Provides that when an agreement is reached between state patrol officers and their employers, the governor's office shall submit a request to the legislature for funds necessary to implement the wage-related provisions of the agreement.
