HB 1808 - DIGEST

 

     Revises the procedures for class one area permits to operate new or existing solid waste disposal sites.

     Establishes procedures for class two and three areas as defined in RCW 70.95.110.

     Establishes new periods for renewal of permits every one to five years as determined by mutual agreement of the department and the local health department.

     Prescribes procedures for suspension of permits and appeals from the suspension.

     Lists materials from out-of-state which are prohibited from disposal in the state.

     Provides that all receipts from administration of chapter 70.95D.110 shall be paid into the state toxics control account.
