(DIGEST AS ENACTED)

     Revises RCW 18.79.260 and 18.79.270 to authorize naturopathic physicians to give directions to registered nurses which are consistent with the nurse's scope of practice.

     Directs the nursing care quality assurance commission to develop rules for nursing practice under the direction of naturopathic physicians by July 31, 1996.
