HB 1811 - DIGEST

     Provides a business and occupation tax credit to firms that maintain a work-based basic skills program to improve the skills of their existing work force.

     Designates the formula for computing the tax credit.

     Requires reports on the impact of the tax credit on the desired results.

     Terminates the program on June 30, 2000.
